We, the students of Brownsburg High School establish this Constitution of the Student Council of Brownsburg High School.  Our focus is on fostering inclusivity and awareness through strong relationships with both students and faculty. The aim is to ensure all students' thoughts and perspectives are shared and represented effectively. The student council of Brownsburg High School endeavors to promote school spirit, lead by example, and engage with clubs and student-led organizations to strengthen bonds. Our goals include addressing student concerns, planning spirit events, and providing representation for the student body outside of academics. We aim to bridge the gap between students and school administration, advocating for student interests and promoting a positive school environment.  Overall, the student council seeks to create a sense of community, ensure every voice is heard, and incorporate new ideas into school activities and projects, thereby fostering inclusivity and school spirit across all areas, not just limited to certain sports or activities.

DECA is an organization that creates emerging leaders in colleges and high schools around the world. These students compete against each other and gain real world experience in a subject they are interested in, such as marketing, finance, entrepreneurship and management. They can compete in either role plays or paper projects. Members from all 50 states are able to compete and move on to internationals where they will face students from other countries. DECA allows students to develop skills they are able to utilize later in life and challenges students to become more effective leaders.

Founded by Dean Kamen, FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a program designed to engage students in activity where they can learn about and explore science, technology, and engineering.

FIRST has several different branches for students to participate in based on grade level ranging from elementary to high school. FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) is the FIRST program for high school students. Known as the "Varsity Sport of the Mind", this program teaches students about science and technology in a team environment that allows them to learn different skills such as leadership, teamwork, and responsibility at the same time.

This program provides a wonderful opportunity for students to make friends, be competitive yet cooperative, and have loads of fun while doing so.
